This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Wireless hard drive hub?

    is there such a thing?

    I have a few external hard drives that i want to access over a wireless connection with my laptop is there any way of doing this.

    I'm not even sure if such a product exists, something that has a wireless router with USB2 connectors for the hard drives.

    apart from connection them to a PC with a wireless card i cant see how i can do this

    anyone....

    can you plug additional external harddrives in to it?

    You can use the Linksys Storage Link, but it would need an ethernet link into your network (if you plug it into your router, you'll have wireless access to it).

    Linksys also has a router with a built-in Storage Link, with some additional features (streaming media server, etc...), but I don't know how many devices you can connect:
