I play WoW and CS:S. In CS:S wireless connection seems to play fine as long as i find servers in my area. However when i try to play WoW on wireless my lag jumps around from 200-700ms even when I am rite beside the router! I have a intel pro wireless 3945 ABG and a 2.5MBit telus enchanced adsl connection. So I have to plug in the wire every time i want to play WoW. My question is will the new N wireless cards and routers improve my lag with the 2.5MBit connection i have? If so how much will it be just like plugging in or not as good? Also are wireless cards upgradable in dell inspiron 6400 notebeooks and are the N routers compatible with notebooks without N cards?

Wired will all ways be the best choice. They are improving wireless but I would hold off of at least another 9-12mo. The spec has finally made it out of the first beta. It will be 1-3 mo before we see any hardware. Then we do not not how fully the spec is.

Sorry I'm not much help. But I do not believe in products that are not built to a finalized form. 11g is a prime example. Almost all hardware mfg prior to finalization did not meet the spec. And I do not like doing beta testing and have to pay a premium for it.
