I am close to buying a lap top and a wireless printer....

I have Bright House for my internet connection. Went to their site and they charge a $149 one time set up to connect 2 computers/laptops to a wireless system. HUH? I thought you could just buy some sort of router or a get a new box from the cable company and wham you are wireless.

When I had Verizon I just installed a CD and plugged a Lynsky into my CPU (no laptop at that time)

Please help, is there a way to save some money and not spend to get it set up?

    Thanks~Nicole

All you need is a wireless router.
