My brother goes round to his dads house about twice a month, but that house does not have internet. We're wondering if it would be best to get a dongle and some sort of pay as you go deal with internet, or would it work out cheaper and easier to go for a monthly deal?

We live in the UK and can't seem to find any straight-up pay as you go deals with internet, only monthly plans. Do any providers have this service?

Also is there much difference in the hardware between dongles, or are they all pretty much the same?

    Thanks.
