    I have a DWL-650 wireless card in my notebook. It's a "D-link Air" card.

My problem is that when I am browing the web, the internet just.. stops working, as well as all other internet-related activities. (Gaming, downloading, etc.) To fix this problem, I have to go to the router and unplug the power from the router, and plug it back in. After a few seconds, when it is done "resetting" or whatever, wireless internet works again.

But this problem occurs like every 2-3 hours. Is this a problem with my ISP, or the router?

I also have problems when I am using the regular PC as well. The cable modem's "SYNC" button begins to blink, and internet jus gives out. Could this be caused by the router? Or is my ISP just crap?

I don't think I've ever had this problem before we installed the router.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Try updating the BIOS for the router (go to the website of the router maker ). I had similar problems and this fixed most of them.

If this doesn't solve everything, you might also want to keep track of the time, date, and weather conditions, and maybe discuss the issue with neighbors. I have noticed problems on days with very moist conditions following cold nights--I am guessing a possible condensation problem, but this could just be coincidence . . .
