    I have 3 laptops:

Dell Latitude 630 with Intel 4965AGN
Dell Vostro 1400 with Intel 3945ABG
Lenovo T400 with Intel 5100 AGN

    Linksys WAP54G Router

I never have any dropped connections with the Latitude or Lenovo. The Vostro drops connections all the time. I do have a 2.4 and 5.8 GHz phone in the house. Could it just be the phones or do you think there is a problem with the Intel 3945ABG on the Vostro? I've tried it using the Intel software to manage Wifi and Windows. No luck.

    Vostro config:

    Windows XP SP3
    Intell driver 11.1.1.22

Try temporarily swapping the 3945ABG with one of the other wireless cards and see how that goes? It might not be a problem with any of the cards themselves, just a combination of the 3945 and the Vostro 1400.

Turns out it was the phones after all.

Step 1: turn off phones, see what happens.

Try go Control Panel and select uninstall program and select Wireless software and then press repair. Hope this will help this problem.
