ive got a new laptop with an intel Pro wireless card but cannot get it to connect to my home internet network. the error is something to do with no association, and when i run the diagnostics test fr the card, it fails on the association test.

anyone got an idea what this problem is?

ive got 2 desktop machines that connect to he network fine via usb adaptors and thats what im using on the laptop to connect with, but be nice to get the internal card working.

Have you checked to make sure that all of the configuration settings on the NIC are consistent with the router settings, such as DHCP?
