    Wireless card or router

    Ever since i bought this damn router, every once and a while, my wireless wont find it. and i refresh and refresh and it doesnt work, so i have to stick in the CD and it does its thing and it works. i dont want to have to do this every week. but the weird thing is, my other laptop connects just fine. so is it my router or my card.

    btw, i have a linksys router if that helps any

    3 questions: what's your OS, what kind of wireless card is it, and what's the router's model number? If you google these things you should be able to find a solution or someone with a similar problem.

    I'm assuming you mean you have a plugin wifi card, and if you have to use the cd to fix it, perhaps your OS keeps deleting the network card's driver, and you might need to set it to a permanent connection location or something.

    its linksys 300blahN something, no i dont have a plugin wireless card, its inside of my machine, right next to the memory :D, i use XP, and its a 1370 wireless card, by intel
