Got my new Asus A6T a few days ago(works great by the way :) ) Got one problem though, whenever i reboot it or suspend it or whatever when get into windows again the wlan card i deactivated wich is very annoying, then i have to go into device manager and activate it again and then it works fine.

Im not using the wlansoftware from asus im using XPs builtin one, same thing with asus software though.

I am however using the Asus powergear to control the poweroptions, not sure if its got anything to do with it.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this ?

Is there like some kind of battery power saving mode that will turn it off? I'm not sure for Asus, but Dell has this option that if you plug in or plug out the adapter it can turn on or off the wireless card.

Yea thats was my first guess to and i do have Asus Powergear(power management) installed so i thought that deactivated the card to save power, but i tried disabling powergear and set the windows powermanagement to "minimal power management" but still the same thing.

Does windows handle powermanagement anywhere else then controlpanel/powermanagement ?

I would try this...go to control panel - power option properites...and on the top choose Always on or something like that. See if it goes off or not.

You still have something in power management turning it off. Set the power managment to AllWays ON. Go to the device driver, and get properites, In the advanced properites you may find a option on power managment you will nee to look at all options in that section. All cards are different.

Deactivate the Asus Power Mangement. May need to do it a the msconfig panel.

    Thanks for the tips!
I tried the msconfig and disabling powergear but still the same problem, even completely uninstalled powergear and put the power options to "Always On" but same thing still :/
Almost ready to give up here, anyone who can come up with anything else ?
