I am having a very weird issue here. I recently tried to re-install my laptop camera but decided to uninstall the old drivers first. When I launched the uninstall file, it seems all my drivers were forced to re-install (VGA/display, USB, various hot keys, card reader, wireless and LAN). All of the other drivers re-installed quickly, how ever the wireless and LAN both seem to fail.

    ASUS A8Jm
    Windows 7 Pro 32bit

    Device Manager:

    Wireless: Intel 3945ABG
LAN: Realtek PCIe (unsure of model, more focused on wireless)

I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel for the 3945ABG and downloaded the drivers from the ASUS site (dated 2007). I uninstall the driver via device manager in safe mode, then I install the new set of drivers. Windows tells me the drivers failed installation and cannot load both sets of drivers. I tried both 13.5 and 13.4 on the intel site and the set on the Asus site. Device Manager has Code 31 listed in the "Device status" box.

Any ideas on how to solve this without a format? The wireless is turned ON btw.

ALSO when I try the "Have Disk" method with the files (.inf) from the ASUS site, I recieve another error: "the parameter is incorrect". The ASUS drivers are for Vista 32bit
