I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ21 Laptop running Vista Home Premium. Every time one user of the computer logs on, 'Wireless Switch Settings' on the task bar flashes. This does not stop the wireless connection to the Netgear router from working, but the only way to stop it flashing is to right-click and then click on 'Restore'. Does anyone know why this happens and what can be done to rectify please?

Sounds like another one of those silly apps that Sony installs on their machines. I would personally remove any wireless management app and just use the one in Windows.

^That. The SmartWi crap Sony uses is just that... crap. Windows 7 can manage wireless connections MUCH easier and with much less confusion than having to have a 3rd party app.
