Hi,
Many of the wireless routers I've looked at have things like Speed Booster or Range Booster, etc...
Questions:
1. Do you always have to use a special adapter to get the extra speed or range?
2. Are there any wireless routers out there that add extra speed or range without having to use a special adaptor?
3. Any specific recommendations for a decent wireless router that works best with the Intel PRO/Wireless 2915 Internal Wireless? (802.11 a/b/g, 54Mbps).
Basically I'm looking for something that adds speed or range without having to use a separate adapter.
Thanks in advance...

The Intel Pro/Wireless cards are not compatable with SpeedBooster. You'll still get the signal, but it'll be at regular old 54MB/s.
As for long-range routers, those should work just fine, since I don't believe the specific type of Wireless-G adapter really matters, as long as it is 802.11g-compatable. -
I'd hate to spend twice as much on a "Max Range" type of router, then find out it only works if I use their adapter.
