I have a D-Link Wireless b/g router. On occacion (meaning every other time I go on the net), it gets stuck trying to renew my IP adress. Also, It sometime doesn't allow me to go online with my main desktop! Do I have a faulty router? Can it be fixed? Should I have never gotten D-Link in the first place?

Try updating the firmware on your router and the card to the latest drivers. You can also try the drivers from the card maker. Sometimes they work better.
