    Wireless network problem

    I can connect to a ethernet cable just fine, and in my home in ny i can connect to my wireless network with ease... but now im in pa and my notebook connects with limited connectivity to this wireless network

    what gives?

    Are you using the same Router and ISP ?

    Are you using static or DHCP?

    If you did the initial setup with the modem directly to your PC (wired). You may need to clone the MAC address of the PC into the router.

    Reset the router back to factory and run the setup again. Since you moved your settings have changed.

    This normally appears when you connects to your local lan but does not have internet access. Which means either the Gateway and/or DNS info is not correct. Or Auth for security failed.

    If the wired is working and the wireless is not, are you sure you connecting to your router and not someone elses.
