I just brought the D-Link DIR-655 and 3 D-Link DWA-552 adapters. Other than the fact it costs $400, its looking pretty good.
Though I do have a few questions and wondering if someone can answer them for me.
    1. On my new laptop, its only showing 130 mbps, my other three desktops show the 300 mbps, is this normal?
    2. My two desktops aren't far away from the router, but the signal strength is only "very good" that seems werid to me as the third desktop downstairs receives "excellent".
    3. I tried using BitComet and downloading some stuff and it still lags the internet when I'm surfing. What's up with that? I thought there was the QOS thing.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

    1. What is showing 130? The adapter program, Windows Network? It should show the same if it has the same adapter, check your driver settings on your laptop.
    2. The one downstairs >> Good line of sight :)
    3. Do you have QOS already set up on the router. I think you have to configure or check the 'lil box in 1 of your options. I'll look when I get home.

Thanks for the quick reply nobscot6!
    1. The Windows Network Connection Status? The laptop doesn't have the Xtreme N adapter, but the Intel one it came with.
    2. I see, it just seems a bit werid because I thought I would get "excellent" anywhere in the house.
    3. I thought it automatically sets up the QOS. Not sure though...

    Enable QoS Engine :
    Automatic Classification :
