Hi, I have a Wireless Multi-Client Bridge / Access Point / Repeater by Senao. I've tried to put a Wep password onto the router but it doesn't show it. My Modem is connected to a wired netgear router. From the router I have cables going to two computers and the other wire is going to the wireless modem (because I use my labtop). Now, I went to the address bar and typed http://192.168.0.1/ (as that is the only one that works for me). After logging in, I'm taken to this page [IMG] In side all of the settings there is nothing that mentions WEP or anything pertaining to wireless. I've followed the guide from this site (as this is the kind of router I have) http://www.senao-me.com/downloads/20_pa_3(2).pdf and as you can see my setup page doesn't look anything like that. So I figured that I was viewing the netgears settings, but I'm not wired to the netgear as I'm using the wireless function on my labtop. I've also disconnected the wireless modem from the router and set it directly from the modem and I still get the same problem. Any help would be very much appreciated

Would be nice to know what models we are working on. I would download the latest firmware and update the device.

Bridges and AP are not the same devices. Bridges must connect to other bridges, used to tie 2 networks together. Where AP are the wireless side of routers, and some can be figured for other devices like Clients.

Also, if you can, try to avoid WEP..it's the most unsecure out there. WPA/WPA2 is much better if you can possibly get it. With WEP it's essentially the same thing as leaving it open to anyone who really wants to get in. If you don't need the security and just don't want other people tapping your bandwidth it's probably fine but if you can, always go for something more secure.
