I have a Toshiba Laptop that came with a wireless lan which allows it to search for access points. I had it for like a week or more than that. A fews days later I noticed that the wireless lan is no longer in my network connection list for no reason. Only the Local Area Connection is there. Now the Laptop can't search for an access point. I tried using restore point but it didn't work. Is there any way to bring it back? Do I have to buy a USB Wireless Adapter to install it?

Have you disabled the wireless connection in the "Network Connections" applet?

I don't think I disabled the applet. Nor do I know what that is.

Have you accidentally shut off your Wireless switch for the laptop or uninstalled the drivers?

You might have accidentally disabled your wifi. There is a key combination on most laptops, or an actual wifi button, that you can press to turn it off and on very quickly. On my Dell laptops, Fn+F2 turns wifi on and off. Look around and find that button/combination and see if that's what happened.

I don't know, but your laptop manual would tell you.
