Hey guys, since I'm a laptop addict I game on it. Most of my gaming buddies however have desktops. They have wireless networks setup, but I was wondering if we were both using the same network at the same time, his wired, mine wireless, would it be fast enough for FPS games? Any help is appreciated, i am quite clueless about networks. Thanks guys.

I use my dell laptop to bf2142 play online by connecting to my 2wire wireless router. Despite my cheap-o internet (384 :O ), theres no lag :)
