Got any suggestions? Currently using an old linksys WRT54G and its on the fritz. Need a new one for gaming and torrent downloading and such. I am on a comcast cable connection so nothing that would be overkill.

It has been out for awhile, so the prices have gone down pretty low. I recommend the DLink DIR-655 Draft N router. You may not end up using any of the N capabilities (I don't with mine, I have it set to G-ONLY mode), but you will be very happy with this router. Actual routing performance (important for having many simultaneous connections in torrents) is spectacular.

There is a newer version the DIR-855, but it costs much more for very little if you don't plan on using 802.11n.

Jump over to Smallnetbuilder.com and their router table. Most gaming routers just use QoS to help eliminate lag. This of course can be done with any router.
