Ok, I'm not very good with computers at all. I go to a military academy and the school has blocked anything fun on the internet. Here is a list of the following that is blocked:
Adult/Mature Content, Gambling, Games, Hacking, Illegal Drugs, Nudity, Online Storage, Pay to Surf, Peer-to-Peer (P2P), Phishing, Pornography,
Proxy Avoidance, Remote Access Tools, Spyware/Malware

I'm mainly concerned about being able to play online games like WoW or Hellgate London. But my buddies are interested in just having freedom to search the web for whatever they want. So, like I said before I don't know much about computers, what are my options. I have heard of setting up proxies but the academy checks for that and will put us on restriction (weeks of not being allowed to leave campus, having to do community service on campus, and showing up to daily musters) for that. Also some people are interested in playing xbox live and stuff. So if I were just concerned about myself, what wireless card would be the best for gaming/getting around the firewall? If I were trying to help my buddies as well what should I do?

I highly doubt this kind of discussion is tolerated here on NBR. We don't talk about bypassing security of any kind.

You can always pay for one of those Vorizon or Sprint broadband air cards or whatever they're called. Then you would be using them as an ISP and not the Military base. I'm not sure how good the connection would be for playing games though.
