So I've decided to throw the Intel 3945abg into the air and replace it with an Atheros draft-n card. After snooping around, I'm left with 3 choices, and I really don't know the difference between them.

<s>I don't even know why #1 has the tag "EXPRESS" slapped on to it.</s> It's the "EXPRESS" in "mini PCI-EXPRESS" - God I feel like an idiot now. I do believe I have one antenna unattached. IIRC it's taped to the motherboard (I didn't even know that it was an antenna until like today!)

    Any help appreciated :D

Edit: After reading more about it, I think I can only use #1. But I'm not sure

you need to find out how much longer #2 is before you can deside. And how much more room you NB can take.

If your rig support mini PCI-EXPRESS then go for No.1
