I have never had a problem connecting to the internet before, until recently. The little icon down in the bottom right tray still displayed the two monitors woth the globe between them to show I am connected to the internet, but it seems like about once or twice an hour it will start to flash(as in the monitors change from a light blue to a darker one).

At that time the internet stops working. But if I am on MSN messenger that keeps working....

I am using Vista as my OS. On both my laptops this seems to be the Issue. They are a Dell Inspiron 1720 and a Dell Mini 10.

I have restarted my laptops, connected and disconnected from the wireless, restarts my router. Turned Wifi on and off.

Nothing seems to work. Could this be caused by some Update installed on my computer and a system restore would take care of it? Or is it something bigger?

    Thanks.

    Edit:
Did a system restore. It seems that the problem is still going on. I went back two weeks on the restore....
Also I am not in a new place with my laptops. I am in the exact same spot as I always am.

Have you upgraded to vista recently or did any updates? I've had a similar problem with my laptop before with vista.
