Lately on my laptop, Ive been haveing enourmous problems connecting to most wireless networks except for my home network. Heres my stats on my computer:
    Dell e1505- Vista Home Premium
Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter (440x10/100 Integrated Controller)
    Core2Duo-1.66
    2gb ram
    Linksys Wrt54g Router (at home)

Randomly goes through these phases: Cannot see wireless networks, Connects to Local only, Often wont connect to networks with full signal, Only stays on the internet for a few seconds before disconnecting again. Whenever I do the Diagnose and Repair Feature, windows always tells me to renew the IP address, Reset the network adapted, or Enable/Disable TCP settings (which does nothing to help the problem). Occasionally restarting the computer helps, but the problems resume again after a few minutes.

I travel a lot, visiting many airports and random places that have wireless and most of the time I am not able to access them. In fact when I was in Denver International Airport, I attempted to access their wireless connection there for almost half an hour before I gave up. The fact that I could not access the internet on my laptop but my iPhone could....(as well as many other people next to me on the internet through wireless) that basically pushed me over the edge over the whole thing.

Ive searched the Dell forums for this issue, but I have not been lucky in finding an answer so far (Ive even contacted Dell support but they had no real answer). Ive checked for driver updates and so far I have found none. I found this interesting topic on the Dell forums and made me wonder, but its pertaining to desktops and not laptops:

Any advice on what I can do to resolve this problem?

I would buy a cheap Expresscard wi-fi card and see if you still have issues. If you don't, then you know it's your internal wi-fi card. If you need to buy an internal card, I think you can pick one up on eBay.

Please clarify your home network: can you connect all the time with no dropped connections?

There was an issue early on that when you added more than 3 locations it would not work. May be worth a shot. On you nb there should be a couple of screws to gain access to the card. Look and see what is installed. Then go from there.
