    Hi guys,
At work (University), my network connection (wired) crashes like once every hour. It doesn't give me any message, but it doesn't download the web pages from internet. When that happens I go to my connections-local network and I click repair, and it gets repaired. But then, some time later it happens again.
Does anybody know what is going on?
    Thanks a lot.

What kind of traffic flows through your network? Are you running any network application when it happens?

Have you contacted your Uni's tech support yet? That's where I would start, especially if you are using their computers.

It's my own laptop. I don't think other people has the same issue, but I'll see what they say.

It might started when I got this particular PC (Z96J). Can it have to do with the compatibility of the network card?

The 3945 is a very good card I don't think that it would be a compatibility issue, have you udated the driver?

Is it only your particular machine or did the entire network come to a crawl?
