I have an Atheros AR5007EG and out of no where Windows update had new drivers about 3 days ago. I am running Vista Ultimate anyone else got new drivers?

Since it was updated no connection drops driver ver is 7.6.1.194 (12-29-2008). I still plan to upgrade nic card and router but thisa seem to buy me some time as bills are in the way of my plans.

A friend of mine had an acer 5315 with that card and got the update, it screwed his connection up, had to unistall the update to get it to work properly again. His system couldn't indentify the network, kept getting drops, basically no internet. Once I got rid of all was back to normal.

I guess it's hit and miss, different systems will do different things.
