    Windows XP won't boot with WIFI turned on.

    With wifi enabled (the wifi button pressed), xp hangs after just before the welcome screen should appear. Boot works perfectly with wifi off.

    I'm using intels 3945 ABG on a HP NC6400, tried both HP and Intels pure drivers and there is no difference. Not using intels (bloated) software.

    Another weiridty is that wifi often connect but the wifi icon shows as constanly trying to connect. Fix?

    You can not have HP/MS CP and Intel active at the same time. So you need to kill MS Zero Config or Intel's. Intel's uses a lot more resources.
