I have the Intel Proset Wireless software but I want to use Windows to manage it instead.

My networks SSID is not broadcast and it is using WPA.

I tried using the wizard in Windows but I could not get it to connect.

However it connects fine with the Intel software.

    Thankyou

From the window you can view available networks, click on Change Advanced Settings, click on Wireless Networks tab, click on Add in Preferred Networks.

Don't use MS and Intel at the same time. You will need to disable one.

I don't suggest using the Intel PRO. From my experience and a few others there is no worthwhile function. Range still remains the same. Signal strength still remains the same. The difference? Intel PRO will suck up resources: RAM, CPU, and HD space.
