I just upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. Before I upgraded, I was able to connect to my work's Wifi network with no problems. I had Windows 7 Pro before this.

However, after I installed Windows 8, I can no longer connect. The wireless card detects the network (so it shows up in the list of available networks), but when it tries to connect, it takes about a minute, then displays "cannot connect to network".

I can connect to any other wireless network fine as far as I can tell. The Wifi network at Barnes and Noble works (which is no authentication), and my home Wifi hotspot (that requires a password) does not give me any problems connecting.

The wireless card I have is the Bigfoot Killer Wireless N-1202. I have made sure to download and install and clean 3 times. I made sure to install the one for Windows 8 64 bit. Still nothing.

Can anyone offer me some help? I tried calling Power Notebooks tech support (where I bought the computer), but once I said that I made sure to download the latest driver for my card, they were less than useless and offered no further help.

UPDATE: I just got off the phone with Killer Networks tech support. They said that Cisco is having a problem with Windows 8 and the N-1202 card right now. I will have to check tomorrow if my work uses Cisco. If it does, I will just have to wait for an update to install.

In the meantime, is there anything else I can try to see if it will work?

Try uninstalling Killer network manager/drivers and run the stock windows 8 drivers, I have issues with my killer 1103 with the killer network drivers, but stock qualcomm ones work rock stable.
