    Hello,

I have been having problems with my wireless internet connection since I have bought my laptop back in May. It may work fine for days but then become slow and fail completely for a few days either. There does not seem to be a pattern. Also, my computer always stays connected to router with full bars. I have tried using the internet at other places (cafes, friends houses) with the same results. I have other people in my house who use their computers right next to mine and have no problems. For the record, I have a Sager NP5165, with a RealTek combo (wireless and lan).

Posting here is pretty much a last resort. Here is what I have tried.
    -Windows Troubleshooting Diagnostic (no help)
    -Disabling Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport
    -Flushing the DNS
    -Replacing my network card
-Replacing my router and having the cable company replace my modem
-Any combination of installing drivers and rolling back drivers
-Looking in services.msc for Bonjour Service (set to disabled) and ##ID_String etc.
    -Using a third party DNS
    -Disabling IPv6

That's all I can remember right now, but you get the point, I wouldn't be posting this for a trivial problem, I am not trying to waste anyones time. I am just very frustrated with my state of the art laptop that can't connect to the internet. I mean, I didn't buy it to play solitaire :p.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I would go back to the computer manufacturer and tell them the problem and all you have tried to correct it. Ask for support or a new lappy. That is not acceptable today.

Have you examined your AP? I apologize if I missed that step in your post. I had experienced similar issues with two APs I've owned in the past.

trevor, thanks for the reply but I am not to sure what AP means, I am not 100% computer savvy. If it means access point, how do I check it?
