After wiping out the OEM Vista on my laptop I executed a clean installation of Windows 7 Professional 64bit OS onto my computer
all is now working well enough after many file updates but I do not now have the LED's for my wireless connection button
when wireless is off the button should show an amber light and when connected this should turn to a blue light; however there is no light at all
occasionally when booting up the wireless button will flash amber for a second then out it goes
I had most difficulty in establishing a wireless connection during boot up and had to manually connect the network which stayed connected until shut down and then on next boot up had to manually connect network again
However I found an update for the Atheros AR5009 802.11a/g/n adaptor and now the network connects right at the end of the boot up sequence
Has anyone experienced this same problem and is there a remedy for the fault ?
