Hi guys. This is my first post. I have a Dell Latitute E5400 and I am not satisfied with the built in wireless card. I think it's a Broadcom but it shows up as a Dell Wireless 1397 in the Device Manager. Anyway, I ordered an Intel Wifi Link 5300 from CDW, but after ordering, I'm started to wonder if it will work correctly in my laptop. I verified that my laptop uses a half-mini pci-e card. Here is a link to what I ordered. Thanks

You should be fine. The E5400 is offered with the Intel 5300.

The Dell wireless card is made by Broadcom.
