    As far as I know, no. They're two different cards with two different signal types.

    I have been doing some looking and all EV-DO cards on Dell's site say they support 50 ohm antennas and I have found like 15 external antennas made for A/B/G/N networks that all say they have 50 ohm impedance. So do you think that could mean something? I don't know anything about antennas and such but the pictures I have seen of the Dell 1420 have a Grey and White wire going to the WWAN slot and a Black, Grey and White going to the WLAN slot so I am thinking that the Grey and White wires are just split and go to the same antenna in the panel. It seems less likely that there is 5 antennas total in the LCD panel but maybe I'm wrong about that part.
