Hi, I was wondering if the Sprint Mobile Broadband Card PX-500 fit in the M1330 slot? I tried putting it in there but it sticks out a lot and doesn't seem to set properly. I don't want to force it. Does it fit or should I push it in there harder? TIA :)

That Sprint card is probably a PCMCIA card is it not? The M1330 and most laptops now come with an ExpressCard slot...and that card isn't going to fit.

Greg, I don't know the difference. Googled it and it still confuses me. Any additional info would be helpful. Thanks again!

The PCMCIA cards are wider than the express slot cards so it won't fit. I see that dell model doesn't have a PCMCIA slot so your either going to have to see about getting a adapter sled or a USB adapter (if they make one for that model) for it or getting a EVDO card router (like a normal router but the card plugs into the router instead of the computer) if something like that would work for you. Your other option would be to get a express slot card or go with a USB EVDO modem. There is a great forum thats dedicated to EVDO modems and anything related at www.evdoforums.com and the store thats related to the forum www.3gstore.com should be able to supply you with anything that you need to get you back up and running again.

    Good luck!

    Matt

I had the PCMCIA card, notebook fell slot no longer works I just got the USB Sierra. works good but sticks out I have to be more carefull, but I do have 4 USB's so if I break a couple I have more. If this is a replacement expensive $289 if new, service contract only $29.
