IEEE 802.11g has a theoretical limit of 54Mb/s, but actual speed is no higher than 22-25Mb/s.
Will a 802.11n Access Point running on 802.11g clients provide faster speeds for those 'g' clients, than using an actual 802.11g Access Point?
AKA: Will a 802.11n Access Point boost up performance of an existing 802.11g network?
Thanks in advance,
Adriano!

If its a home network yes, if your talking about connecting to the internet then probably not because your speed is limited to the speed your ISP provides

The question was about the 'home' network. Sometimes I need to move huge amount of files from PC to PC, and at 22mb/s this can take some time....

Will 802.11n operating in 'g' mode be faster than an actual 802.11g network?
