I have the Intel 5100 wifi module in my Hp Pavilion dv5t.Will heavy usage of the wireless module damage it in the long run(i.e kill it gradually)? Is it okay if i use wifi instead of connecting the network cable for say, about 8-10 hours?

Wireless cards produce very little heat and are quite impervious. Plus, a replacement card is usually very cheap.

If something's going to break, $20 says it's not going to be the WIFI card.
