    when i'm on a wifi network, what information from my pc gets recorded and logged by the administrator?

    should i be concerned for my privacy?

    MAC address (not harmful), computer name, times, whether there is network activity and encrypted packet data (assuming WEP/WPA). If it's unsecured, any net activity can be sniffed. Sorry if I missed anything.

    Yoozer, he's referring to anyone who manages the network and has access to logs and the sort.

    Well I would be considered about piracy in either case since you WILL be leaving tracks that can be logged by administrators, RIAA, etc. There is no MAGICAL bullet to pirate material invisibly.
