I've been having issues where I need to hit refresh multiple times to get pages to load with my laptop. My wireless router has always been tempermental w/ deciding to be slow from time to time, but usually power cycling the router and the cable modem would clear things up.

Well last night i was forced to do that thing where I have to refresh several times to get a page to load, even though my laptop shows it has a strong signal. I power cycled the model and router, but still had the issue.

Is this a sign my router needs to go? I don't know the model number of it, but it's a Linksys B/G router with "speedbooster" according to the packaging if I remember correctly. Think it sells at Target for like $60.

Should i replace my router or is there a chance my laptop is just messed up?If replacing it, is there a good B/G router perhaps cheaper the more recommendable or different name brand etc?

What is your OS and how are you connecting to the router?

I'm using Vista 64 bit home premium. I'm connected to it via an Intel ABGN built-in wireless inside my laptop and the service is Road Runner from time warner and its a motorola cable modem box
