    Hi i have the Intel WiFi Link 5100 card in my laptop, but would like to know if i can take it out and upgrade to a better one?

    Yes you can- just check of it's a half height or a full height card.
    New cards like Intel 6200 or 6300 are half height so you may need an additional bracket (very cheap)

    That's about it- just remember not to buy cards marked Lenovo and/or for Lenovo laptops- these won't work.
