What do u mean by "without having to connect with any other computer"?

    To get Internet, you'll need:

    1. Internet Connection from an ISP (Internet Service Provider) they will provide a Modem.

    2. For WiFi you will need a Wireless Router.

At the bare minimum, a starbucks (or similar retail outlet) account for a wi-fi hotspot setup.

On the more philosophical side, though, isn't this a little like asking what the sound is of one hand clapping? After all, when you connect to the internet, the whole point is to connect with at least one other computer, isn't it?
