    Hi All,

Recently had a new wiMAX connection to our home.

My question is: would this work with the Killer Wireless N 1202 adapter in my laptop? Or would I experience connectivity issues?

    Thanks in advance.

It wouldn't work - Wi-Fi is not Wimax. You need a card that supports both.

Indeed? Strange that the sales person who i spoke with did not mention this when i applied for a connection.

So would you advise for me to get a canopy instead?

I think they usually give you some form of adapter.

They tell me an indoor router is provided. I think this should be mandatory at any rate because I don't wager there are many mainstream devices that are advertised as "wimax ready". But even so, would this be sufficient to guarantee decent connection at least the equal of a Canopy?
