I know what WiMAX is, but I was wondering how it's going to be implemented in the Montevina platform? Is it just going to be like an Intel 4965AGN wireless PCI card with a WiMAX anntena on it? Will current Santa Rosa platform users be able to purchase this card and slot it in?

WiMax is indeed a card similar to 4965; however, it requires more power than a standard mini PCI-E card and therefore can not be installed into a standard slot. The montevina platform will have more power to the slot to power the WiMax radio.
