I recently restored my system on my Vaio laptop VGN-A150--yes, old, but hoping to get a bit more use out of it. All has gone well, except for one very odd problem.
When I switch on Wireless, blue error screen pops up--and before I can completely read it, it shuts the computer down. This process repeats itself--cycling on & off.
To remedy, I again restored, but have NOT turned Wireless back on. HELP?!

From reading the Topic alone I immediately think Driver issue.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest driver from the manufacturer's website for the WiFi Adapter Card? I would try the Intel® Wireless LAN Driver Update first and if no joy there, the Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection Driver then the Original - Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection Driver.

BTW, checking the Event Logs wouldn't be a bad idea either, but i'm certain this is Driver related.
