I'm hoping someone knows how Intel WIDI works at a pretty intricate level because I have a strange problem. I'm getting the picture to transfer to my HDTV in 1080p with no problem, but I am rarely getting audio to go with it. In fact, the only time I've gotten audio to go is when I uninstall then reinstall the audio driver for WIDI, and it works just that once.

I had recently decided to get the Netgear Push 2TV receiver to use the WIDI functionality on my Sony Z2 with Intel 6230 wifi card. I have a /Linksys EA3500 dual band router and when I went to buy the old Push 2TV receiver I found that Netgear has a spiffy new model, the NTV200s, which also delivers dozens of internet content channels - Netflix, VUDU, Hulu, many more - and it costs $69 on Amazon vs. $99 for the Push2TV receiver that had no content.

I have worked with Netgear's customer support (dubious value) but they ended up recommending I get a replacement and Amazon gladly obliged but the second unit was no better than the first. Same problem, audio only. When I look at Sound on the Windows Control Panel it shows sound going to the WIDI transmitter, but almost never comes out on the TV end. HDMI cables work fine with this computer and TV, if that matters. Also, I have read the reviews on Amazon for this new Netgear model and no one has registered the same complaint. In fact, there are very few such complaints when I Google it.

    Help! Please!
