I reinstalled windows vista on my dell inspiron 1525 yestaday because it was running very slow.

now i had a dell quick set up for wireless(wi-fi) display, power ect.

so as above i installed the qs program for the programs ,but i needed to installed the wi-fi program for it too work ,so i did and when i click on the program(dell wireless WLAN card utility ) i get a box on the main screen saying

THE WIRELESS NETWORK ADAPETER COULD NOT BE ACCESSED.THIS MAY HAVE DIMINISHED FUNCTIONALTY AS A RESULT.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled the program a number of times and its still not working .

i have been in my bios and all is good ,the wi-fi settings are all on and ready to go.

also i have just tirned my lap top off and when i flick the wi-fi switch the led light comes on so it is working but only when the pc is tured off .

any help would be great .
