Well there is going to be a new standard in wireless soon. There is suppose to be a new standard that is 2 to 10 times faster than the current speeds. The new Standard is going to be called 802.11N. It is going to have speeds of up to 600mbps! That will be amazing. Router Company's are already working on this new technology. Linksys, Netgear, D-link, etc.

Actually pre-n hardware has been out for about a year, maybe longer. Belin was the first one on board with pre-n routers, which you can of course buy now, along with a PCMCIA card if you like. The units can be flashed with the final specification whenever it's approved.

I've seen a few N modems for sale, but theres not much point to it since we won't really utilize it to maximum - I'll stick with good ole' g :)

That's pretty cool - 600mbps wireless....not quite as fast as the fastest wired connections (Gigabit 1000mbps), but fast enough! Should be great for file transfers/ hard drive transfers between computers. ;)

Everybody thinks about speed. Nobody about security. Will it have something stronger than WPA2?

I dont know yet, i find it worthless for that speed. It is just way to much in my opinion. Unless you have like 60 computers around. Greatfor businesses though! :)
