Meh. Until we get rid of the older tech in the field this doesn't make much difference. 6/6E cover most of it already but, MFG's aren't producing enough "routers" or devices that use it yet. I still can't find an AP that supports 6E under $1000 unless I want to spend $500-$600 on a router just to turn it into a bridge for the 6E / 6Ghz benefits.

I think if device MFG's made routers / AP's like Framework where you could just slot in a newer M2 radio setup this would make adoption quicker at a lower price point thus resolving the legacy clog. With AC I was able to build an AP with a PCIE card that functioned much better than the off the shelf solutions and if the same could be done with 6 I would have went that route again vs going with an AP hanging off my server. 6E seems to be moving slower at this point and making incremental changes to the standards doesn't speed things along at all.

Not really new features, all this certification seems to be doing is encompassing some more stuff like 6E and is essentially catching up to some of what was advertised long back, like TWT and Up-Link MU for example which Qualcomm advertised pre-launch in 2017 for the IPQ807X (ie the chip used in the Netgear RAX120v1 / Asus AX89X) series but didn't show till a second revision of the 807x series at least for uplink MU.... (ie Netgear RAX120v2)
