    This is very annoying.

Many times I'm surfing (I'm about 15 ft from the router) and my transfer speed toggles crazily according to the thread title. Has anyone experienced this before or know of a resolution? Thanks.

First you should set your connection to 54...

Your problem might be caused by interference, old wireless drivers or old router firmware. Update those and try again.
