I have had a Belkin wireless N router for about 2 weeks now and It's been nothing but crap.
It won't let me play GTA 4 online on my 360 and the wireless has no range, reaches my room but is terribly slow and only last for a few minutes and it just d/c's every 5 sec's.
    Any suggestions?

I don't know if I can return it to Best Buy now.

makes sure that there isnt a microwave, cordless phone, etc close to the router. Also, be sure that MIMO is enabled and that router is broadcast on either channels 1,6, or 11. Finally, position the antennas, if there are any, in an optimal direction.

I've always had a luck updating a router's firmware, sometimes fixes little issues that may bug you a lot.

Did you search your router before buying it? Always stick to good brands, linksys and cisco are good but a little pricey, dlink is known brand but sometimes has problems. I don't know belkin to tell you the truth.

Even if there are cordless phones if you are within 20 m area, the signal from the router would cancel out this signals... if your connection is completely disrupted, then there's problem with the source.

Return it to best buy, I guess all stores have refunds.
    Good luck
