My 4810tz has a Intel 5100 pro wifi card. It is okay but I understand from the forums the Intel 4965 is a better choice for n mode and also will get better reception. I have found one on ebay (with antennas) for 18.95 but they are asking me if it is a full or half height that I require. Can someone tell me which one I need?
Also is there an alternative card with the atheros chipset that would do the same job. Using Windows xp pro.

Do you have a high-performance N router? If not, then upgrading your 5100 will show little to no difference. I'd say stick with your 5100.
