    Which one is the better Wifi card - the 4965AGN or the 5100AGN? I notice the 4965 has 3 antenna things an the other only 2. What is the third antenna for?

    5300 for now :)

    You can find them within a few $ or same as 5100s.

    With the 4965, one antenna is for B, one for G and one for N.

    I don't know how the 5100 works, but I hear that it really sucks and drops the connection a lot.

    You can get the 5300 for $30 so that would be good.

    Thanks for the replies but i actually have both cards and I was thinking of putting the 4965 in my laptop if its better than the 5100

    get 5300 and sell both 4965 and 5100.. and you'll still get the cash :)

    Second that! I've replaced mine all with 5300. Previously my laptops were using broadcoms and 4965. :)
